Diverse range of items at our next auction.

We are pleased to announce our upcoming online General and Household online auction, Friday 1st and Saturday, 2nd November.

As usual, this auction will feature a diverse range of items, including clocks, vintage audio and visual equipment, camera and video gear, art, ceramics, glassware, watches, tools, furniture, collectables, Militaria, fishing gear and much more.

Key items to look out for are the extensive range of Military themed items, such as a Special edition limited edition print by Robert Taylor. For example, "D-DAY- The Airbourne Assault" No 54/350 signed by the artist and notable figures like Bob Hope, Charlton Heston, FM Lord Bramhall, and Bob Gates. Most of these limited edition prints are signed by the pilots themselves.

In addition to the prints, we have some other great Militaria items, such as a wonderful collection of Militaria and photography relating to Flying Officer H.J.H Keay of the RAF, including Victory Medals, RAF cloth insignia, a beautifully painted watercolour of Officer Keay as a Scout, a 1930's RAF Handbook, and a framed acknowledgement from the King for Flying Officer Keay's M.I.D. There is also an AMAZING album of inter-war era photographs of the Middle East, covering social, topographical, and Military subjects.

Other highlights include a WW2 Era Fairbairn Sykes Commando or Fighting Knife with an original Leather scabbard, stamped to the fingerguard "B2" and arrowmarked, as well as a very Rare 'Caterpillar Club' Lapel Badge with Red Enamel Eyes, awarded to Sgt W.A. Poulton, whose name is engraved to the rear of the badge. There is also a large book of research and of his story and the events of the shooting down of his Halifax Aircraft during WW2 over enemy territory.

In addition to the Militaria, we have some interesting books, such as seven vintage Ian Flemming James Bond books by Pan or Mrs Beetons Household Management and Newnes Everything Within.

As usual, we have some great ceramics from the likes of Royal Albert, Royal Doulton, Wedgewood, Royal Crown Derby, and a rather extensive collection of Liliput Lane houses, with some quite limited edition pieces.

Once again, we have an impressive selection of carved lots from the renowned Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson, including napkin rings and an ashtray. These unique and highly sought-after pieces are sure to pique the interest of collectors and enthusiasts alike.

In the furniture department, we are thrilled to present a stunning array of Victorian, Edwardian, and earlier pieces, as well as some more modern offerings from the likes of Ercol. Standout lots include a small but exquisite Spanish Renaissance-style table, accompanied by matching carved chairs and a carver. Additionally, we have a Morris & Co. Arts & Crafts Fireside Chair with a lath back and Bergère seat, which was specially made for Liberty's of London. We also have lots of period 1940s furniture, clocks and household appliances, from the house we cleared a few months ago. Perfect items for a prop house or collector.

As always, our jewellery, watches, gold, and silver selection is extensive, with some exceptional diamond cluster rings that are sure to catch the eye of discerning buyers.

We invite you to join us for our viewing day on Thursday, October 31st, from 10 am to 4:30 pm at both our Messingham and Trafford Street salerooms.

Collections will be available the next working day, after the auction, Monday, November 4th, from both locations, so please call ahead to ensure someone is available at the Trafford Street Saleroom.
