Main office now at The Old School

POTTERS AUCTION SALEROOM - Blog Update

It has been a busy few months at Potters Auction Saleroom. We have been diligently working on various improvements to enhance our space and better serve our valued customers.

We are now pleased to annouce that from Monday 3rd June our main office will be at The Old School, Messingham. This means we will be accepting all incoming items at The Old School, we will no longer be accepting any items at our Trafford Street premises.

To provide a more efficient and visually appealing experience, we have installed a new counter in the reception/office area, accompanied by brand-new glass display cabinets. These cabinets are already filling with captivating items, eagerly awaiting the upcoming auction scheduled at the end of June.

In addition, two more cabinets have been integrated into the hallway connecting the office and the main hall. We have also relocated some of the glass cabinets from Trafford Street to optimise our layout.

Over in the main hall, substantial progress has been made with the installation of racking and shelving in preparation for the upcoming lots in the following months. These enhancements are designed to streamline the process of displaying and locating items efficiently. Furthermore, the glass jewellery counters have been shifted from the main saleroom in anticipation of the June auction.

While there remains ongoing tasks such as painting, moving items, and assembling, we are on track to complete these endeavors promptly.

We are excited to announce a general auction, scheduled for Saturday 8th June, from our Trafford Street premises. We will also be holding our first auction from The Old School, this will be a two day auction of antiques, collectables and art, on Friday 28th & Saturday 29th June. Your online presence at these would be greatly appreciated, and we are looking forward to welcoming you, for the viewing day prior to the auction.
